Membership Quick Facts

Individual Member: $60
Full membership dues with US Figure Skating is included with FSCC membership fees. As a member of US Figure Skating, you will receive:

  • USFS testing privileges for all disciplines
  • USFS competition privileges for all disciplines
  • Monthly issue of Skating magazine

Additional Family Member: $20 per additional family member (after first individual member fee)

Guests: Members may invite prospective members and guests to skate on our club sessions. The board may waive guest fees for the first skating session of a prospective member. In all other cases, members will be responsible for the payment of guest fees ($15 per hour). A prospective member may skate as a guest a maximum of three times.

ISI membership: In late 2007, FSCC became a member of the Ice Skating Institute (ISI), primarily to allow our synchronized skating teams to compete not only at US Figure Skating competitions, but also at ISI competitions. As a result, any FSCC member can now join ISI as a representative of FSCC.

Your FSCC club membership includes US Figure Skating membership, BUT NOT ISI membership. If you would like to be an ISI member, click here. List "Figure Skating Club of Cincinnati" as your represented "Rink/School/Club." ISI membership is currently (Jan 2008) $13.00 per person per year.

The primary benefits of being an ISI member (in addition to a US Figure Skating member) are:

  • Recreational Ice Skating magazine
  • Opportunity to test in the ISI system (which is different than US Figure Skating's test system)
  • Opportunity to compete at ISI competitions, such as the "ISI Miami Open" in Oxford, OH each February.
  • FSCC is lucky to already have several ISI judges among its members, including:

  • John Bierma
  • Rae Brooks
  • Emily Joesting
  • Deb Wyatt
