In this event, each maneuver listed will be performed by a member of a 3-5 person team. Both men and ladies may compete on the same team. Each member of a team may perform one or two maneuvers. Skaters on a team do not have to represent the same club. A skater may not represent more than one team. Skaters may skate up one level from their current Free Skating test level.
Each team should submit the names of the team members at the time of registration. Teams must have a team name and a team captain (a contact person). The team captain will be responsible for the entry fee. If a team member is unable to compete due to illness or injury, a teammate may perform the maneuver in the absent skaterŐs place, provided that no individual member on a team is performing more than two maneuvers. A team may list one alternate skater.
Team maneuvers will be performed on half ice, with no music. Each team will skate the elements in the order listed, upon the direction of the referee (similar to a moves in the field format; not in a program format). Connecting moves will not be considered in the scoring of this event.
Props may not be used during the team maneuvers event. Skaters may elect to wear a team-themed costume, but costumes will not affect scoring of this event.
