About the Club
A member of US Figure Skating since 1951, the Figure Skating Club of Cincinnati welcomes skaters, parents of skaters, professional skating instructors, and fans of figure skating alike who seek to appreciate, and promote the sport of figure skating in the Cincinnati area. We support skaters of all ages and abilities, whether you are a competitive skater or just starting out.
FSCC offers a wide variety of programs for its members, including US Figure Skating testing, Group Lessons, club ice sessions, and ice dance sessions. In addition, FSCC sponsors three synchronized skating teams that have competed at the local and sectional levels as well as internationally. FSCC also hosts two competitions annually--Skate Cincinnati in the spring, and the Buckeye Adult Open in the fall. In 2006, FSCC re-introduced an ice-dancing weekend that attracted skaters nationwide.
FSCC is a non-profit organization, and all club activities are supported by the volunteer activities of its members and their families and friends. Our membership currently consists of approximately 70 individuals, with 10 members serving on our Board of Directors.
