Papert Skating Library

In the spring of 2008, FSCC created a library intended to house Figure Skating videos and books for the collective benefit of club members. The library is named in honor of Susan Papert, a long-time FSCC coach and originator of FSCC's Synchronized Skating program, who also donated the first materials for the library.

The purpose of the library is to make figure skating resources available to club skaters, parents, coaches, and judges. While no video or book can replace your coach's personalized instruction, we hope that you find the library resources useful for better understanding the both the history and basics of figure skating, and for improving your own personal skating, coaching, and/or judging.

FSCC will happily accept donations of figure skating-related videos (VHS, DVD) and books that may be of interest to our members. Please contact the Club Librarian to make arrangements.
